Viva Las Vegas

Deanna and I both turn 30 this year. I would like to point out that she turns 30 first. So as a combined gift to each other we decided to let it ride in Las Vegas. We had a wonderful time. Although we did not come back with a huge bank roll, we still were winners. We were lucky from the beginning of the trip - Richie got us into the British Airways lounge and we got bumped up to first class. Our flight was an hour early so our pilot took a special detour over the Grand Canyon for a private tour. At check-in, we were upgraded to a room with a view of the strip.

This was our first trip without Alessio. It was kind of weird at first but relaxing at the same time. We spent most of the days by the pools or going up and down "The Strip" checking out the huge casinos and resorts. Some were better than others. We stayed at the Flamingo which was optimally located to get around and because it was across from Caesar's Palace, Deanna could say good night to her best friend every night before bed.... (there was a huge billboard of Celine Dion out of our window).

Yes, that is the real reason we were in Vegas... so Deanna could see Celine Dion in concert. She had a fantastic experience. So did I, since I did not go to the show. I really dodged a bullet there ;-).

Deanna and I could not agree on the music. It is the same video. You be the judge.
